Adashian Halflings have a wide variance in features, but there are a few things they all have in common: enormous feet covered with thick hair, a full-grown height never reaching above four feet nor below three feet, a poor degree of facial hair in their men, and a life lived under the rule of the Sun Dragon Pantheon’s direct control.
Adashia is a continent of over three million square miles. It’s generally a mixture of forest and pasture, but all sorts of topography can be found within. The wide variations of towns and villages that make up the Halflings who live in it are significant indeed. Hundreds of Sun Dragons rule over their different counties (one dragon per county), most often from high peaks or caves within their domain. These Sun Dragons are generally benevolent rulers, but they dislike technology, crest magic, and sprawling cities; thus the Adashian Halflings have been prevented throughout their history from advancing in such areas. Their rulers have deliberately chosen to keep them in a state of rural bliss.
These, the original or “true” halfling, have exported from their lands waves of other Halflings. They have also sent off the race that would eventually become humans from this cradling continent of Adashia.
