The divine power source refers to any energy that is transfered from one plane to another. The advantage of sending energy between planes is that often the needs of the two parties are different. For example one of the Celestials in the Solimket might be desiring a prayer from a mortal as sustenance power is sent back in the form of healing or radiant damage. It is important to note that divine power also is used by evil minded planes and their worshipers as well as good.
Tapping into Divine Power: Most divine powered classes spend many years studying the teachings and theology of their respective religion. A bond of faith is developed in this period and a strong exchange between the plane they worship and themselves is developed. Divine energy seems to many as quite simple; but for the devotion and trust that takes so long to develop most will point out that it is not.
